Manifiesta
Manifiesta is a party I started in 2013 to showcase international music. It has been held in venues such as C’mon Everybody, Camaradas, and Sisters, featuring bands such as Innov Gnawa, Amayo’s Fu-Arkist-Ra, Yotoco and Los Cumpleaños.
zona libre
Zona Libre is a project I co-created with Morgan Greenstreet, aka modrums. It explores African as well as African diaspora music focused on Latin America and the Caribbean. We throw parties, host listening sessions and produce the occasional podcast.
Planetario
Planetario is a livestream series where each episode features music from one country or region. I cover a variety of different genres and periods, and after each episode I record a condensed mix that is posted to my Mixcloud account. The series has covered music from Cuba, Brazil, Nigeria, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Jamaica and more.

I’ve DJed a host of beautiful events, such as the Present Present festival, the ¡Vaya 63! party at Lincoln Center, the Essex Street Market Block Party, and live music events with amazing bands such as Super Yamba Band, Yasser Tejeda and Palotre, Bio Ritmo, Jainardo Batista y su Kumbakin, and many more.
